Dr Gretchen Allen and her husband Dr. Kurt Lutgens
obtained their veterinary degrees from Cornell Veterinary
School in 1978. They joined Dr Joe Cali in the area in
1982. Dr Allen and her husband have raised 3 sons on
their farm in Greenwich. They have numerous show cows,
chickens, swans, four cats, and four dogs that add to their
menagerie. Her interests include animal behavior,
volunteering veterinary time in the Caribbean, gardening,
and scuba diving.

attended Ross University School
of Veterinary Medicine, where
